Xceed Preparatory Academy and Xceed Anywhere Honor 66 Students
Students inducted into National Honor Society or National Junior Honor Society
Despite large gathering restrictions, Xceed Preparatory Academy, with campuses in Weston, Kendall, Coral Springs and Daytona Beach, and its virtual school, Xceed Anywhere, were able to bring together more than 100 people virtually to celebrate 66 students who were inducted into the National Honor Society or National Junior Honor Society.
“Like so many other occasions this year, we had to pivot from what had been done in the past, keeping in mind our students deserve their time in the spotlight,” said Miriam Rube, Head of School for Xceed Preparatory Academy – Kendall. “Because each of our campuses focuses on serving smaller groups of students, we could not have had such an amazing turnout in person, given our locations, our students’ locations and our proximity to the other campuses. So, in a way, holding this ceremony virtually, ended up being a wonderful success.”
To be inducted to the National Honor Society or National Junior Honor Society, students must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher and participate in a minimum of 15 hours of community service a year.
“I am incredibly proud of not only our students, but also our staff,” said Dr. Brent Goldman, CEO of Xceed Preparatory Academy and Xceed Anywhere.
This event is indicative of the incredible cross-campus collaboration that happens every day at Xceed, and to see so many of our students succeed at this level despite the pandemic, only solidifies what I’ve known all along: our model of personalized education works, and it works well.Brent Goldman
