Celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week at Xceed

There are many things that are different about Xceed Preparatory Academy when compared to a traditional school: from our student-centered model to flexible schedules to no homework, we are completely focused on helping our students succeed.
But the true heart and soul of our campuses is our teaching staff. They are dedicated educators who meet students where they’re at and bring out the best in each and every one. They provide one-on-one and group learning sessions, teach students in groups and do everything they can to make learning fun and engaging.
“The teachers and Heads of School at Xceed are passionate, prepared and, simply put, top-notch,” said Dr. Brent Goldman, CEO and co-founder of Xceed Preparatory Academy. “Our students and families are lucky to have them, and I am grateful for their hard work, commitment and dedication. They make Xceed what it is.”
Xceed seniors and alumni have noted, during interviews over the last several months, how their teachers helped them learn to love a subject or introduced them to a new topic. They’ve shared how their Xceed teachers supported them during tough times and have encouraged them both in and out of school.
This week our teachers receive a special lunch and gifts to thank them for all that they do.
“It is important for us to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week,” continued Dr. Goldman. “I spent many years as a public school teacher and the rest of my career as a Head of School. I understand the stressors and challenges educators face, and that’s why at Xceed, we’ve made it a priority to offer a flexible, supportive and streamlined environment for our employees. When teachers are happy, it reflects in their work with students and I’m incredibly proud of how the Xceed team operates, especially over the last year of the pandemic.”
